Hope by Twelve has a small staff that manages the day-to-day operations of running a non-profit. The board steers the organization but is also made up of individuals who are some of Hope By Twelve’s most devoted volunteers. They fundraise, they do field visits and they lend their time and talents in so many incredible ways.
Beth Mass is a passionate preschool teacher who founded and runs an enrichment program serving Bainbridge Island families. Beth graduated with honors from Whatcom Community College, earning a degree in early childhood education with an emphasis on early intervention. Beth’s trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in February 2009 was life-changing for her. She saw real people living in poverty and despair, and the experience inspired her to take action. Whether professionally or through her work with Hope by Twelve, Beth’s goal is always to see children reach their own full potential.
Stephanie Jackson is a certified Health & Wellness Coach who empowers clients to stop negative patterns and reignite their zest for life. She is the mother to an adolescent girl and it is important to Stephanie that she do her best to show her daughter what a passionate, happy, healthy woman looks like.
Lorna is a communications specialist. She is an account supervisor for Hornall Anderson Design Works. Lorna is dedicated to helping girls around the world, and she and her family love doing all sorts of outdoor activities together.
